Advantage CSP supports Advanced Searching Indexing that can be configured directly within the admin, by non-technical users.
Search indexes can be subdivided based on the following rules:
- Content Categories
- Location Categories
- Security Categories
- Custom HTTP Headers
- Custom Cookies
- Support for Custom Indexers, i.e. custom DLLs
Admins can also perform the following Domain Level settings:
- Enable\Disable Indexing (site will not be indexed when indexing web page is called)
- Set Security Key for private pages (used to create a secure index page for protected pages, for such deployment types as Portals, LMS, etc.)
- Link Depth (how deep the indexer will scan)
- Meta Name Weight Factor (how much to overweight meta name tags)
- Meta Description Weight Factor (how much to overweight meta Description tags)
In addition, admins can also perform the following Page Level Settings:
- Do Not Index (this page will not be in index results)
- Do Not Follow Links (any links on this page will not be followed to scrape)
- Boost Search Factor (overweight this page for results)
